Software application for the calculation of building energy efficiency

The energy performance of a building can be determined now with a software application aid!
This application is the result of the efficacious cooperation between two companies, IPCT Instalatii (Bucharest) and Algorithm+ (Galati), and the data supplied by the software application are the base of filling-in the energy performance certificate or can generate this certificate.
The energy performance certificate is a compulsory document since this year, for all new buildings and it is issued based on an energy audit, for a period of 10 years. According to the MDRL, the building owners will not be able to sell or rent the dwellings without holding the energetic certificate. Based on this certificate, the building receives a score that represents the energy efficiency of the building, and, depending on this score, the price of the area to be sold will be established.
Although the energy certificate is a technical document, the data supplied by the application are also useful to the construction companies, architecture offices, real estate developers at the evaluation of the building energy performance and its framing into an energy performance class.
By using the AllEnergy application the following can be achieved:
* energy consumption profile of the building;
* identification of some energy saving measures;
AllEnergy application is structured into modules aiming to implement the methodology in force for the calculation of the following:
* heat consumption; for heating Qs [kWh/an] ;
* heat consumption for domestic sanitary hot water Qa [kWh/an] ;
* electrical power consumption for lighting Wilum [kWh/an] ;
* cool consumption for air-conditioning Qf [kWh/an] ;
* CO2 equivalent emission index;
* penalties given to the certified building;
* generation of the Building Energy Performance Certificate Form;
In comparison with version V1.2, which contents the above mentioned modules, the following supplementary modules have been added to Version V.2.0.1:
* Computation of the thermal resistance of the building element envelope;
* Annex of Building Energy Performance Certificate, containing information regarding the certificated building in accordance with the Calculation Methodology for Building Energy Performance - MC001/3/2006;
* Editing of the Results General Report and graphs for the establishment of the heating season duration;
The energy audit of the building and the certificate drawing up are achieved by the building energy auditors, authorized according to the norms in force.
All these are stated by Law no. 372/2005, (that actually translates the European Directive 2002/91/CE) regarding the improvement of the buildings energy performance, taking into consideration the exterior climate conditions, the location, the interior comfort requirements and the energy and economic efficiency.
