Software application for the calculation of building energy efficiency
The energy performance of a building can be determined now with a software application aid!
This application is the result of the efficacious cooperation between two companies, IPCT Instalatii (Bucharest) and Algorithm+ (Galati), and the data supplied by the software application are the base of filling-in the energy performance certificate or can generate this certificate.
The energy performance certificate is a compulsory document since this year, for all new buildings and it is issued based on an energy audit, for a period of 10 years. According to the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Housing (MDLPL), the building owners will not be able to sell or rent the dwellings without holding the energetic certificate. Based on this certificate, the building receives a score that represents the energy efficiency of the building, and, depending on this score, the price of the area to be sold will be established.
